Ingredients

  • 4 slices sandwich bread
  • 1 tablespoon TABASCO® brand Buffalo Style Hot Sauce
  • About 4 teaspoons butter, softened
  • 4 (3/4-ounce) slices Cheddar cheese

Preparation

Lightly brush two slices of bread with TABASCO® Buffalo Style Sauce; place two slices of cheese on each and top with remaining bread, pressing gently together. Butter top and bottom sides of sandwiches, spreading all the way to edges.

Heat a large iron skillet over medium-low heat. Place sandwiches in skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides and cheese has melted, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Cut in half diagonally and serve immediately.

Makes 2 servings.
