  • 1/4 ounce Cynar
  • 1 ounce Tanqueray® Gin
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 5 dashes TABASCO® brand Garlic Pepper Sauce
  • 2 ounces tomato juice
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 grinds fresh black pepper
  • 1 large basil leaf, garnish
  • 1 clove roasted garlic, garnish
  • 1/2 ounce Chianti


Mix spirits together (except wine) and dissolve the first pinch of salt in liquid. Stir in TABASCO® Garlic Sauce, tomato juice, lemon juice, mustard, and 1 grind of pepper. Add to mixing glass and fill with ice.

Mix back and forth between two glasses; strain into fresh ice in tall glass.

Garnish with pepper, salt, basil leaf, garlic clove, and float red wine on top.

Yields 1 drink.
