Chipotle Black Bean Nachos

  • 1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce
  • 1/2 (8 1/2-ounce) bag nacho chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese


Combine beans, cumin and TABASCO® Chipotle Sauce in a bowl and mix well. On a baking sheet, spread nacho chips in a single layer, edges slightly overlapping. Spoon a teaspoonful of the bean mixture onto each chip, and top with onion, tomato, cilantro and cheese. Bake in 400°F oven for 6 to 8 minutes or until cheese melts and nachos are heated through. Serve immediately.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
