Chicken Temptation

  • 8 ounces dried angel hair pasta
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 2 large green onions, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream


Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain.

Meanwhile, cut chicken into 1/4-inch strips. Heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until well browned on all sides, stirring frequently.

Add cherries, brandy, green onions, TABASCO® Sauce, and salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in cream and heat through. Toss with pasta and serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings.

    I've been using this recipe for years and it has become my signature dish for the nights that it's my turn to cook. It's pretty good with dried cranberries too!
