  • 12 chicken wings (about 4 pounds)
  • Salt
  • Oil for deep-frying
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 jar MARIE’S® Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing or MARIE'S® Creamy Ranch Dressing

Remove tips from wings and discard. Cut remaining wings in half at joints and pat dry with paper towels; sprinkle lightly with salt.

Pour 2 inches of oil in a deep-fat fryer and heat to 350°F. Fry a few wings at a time for 6 to 7 minutes or until golden on all sides. Drain on paper towels, then place in a large bowl.

Melt butter in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in TABASCO® Sauce and ketchup; pour over wings and toss until well coated.

Serve hot with MARIE’S® Blue Cheese or Ranch Dressing for dipping.

Makes 24 pieces.

To turn up the heat, add a half a teaspoon of TABASCO® Sauce to the dip!
