  • 4 tablespoons fig spread* or preserves
  • 1/2 teaspoon TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce
  • 1 (16-ounce) loaf ciabatta or other Italian-style bread
  • 8 (1/4-inch-thick) slices fresh mozzarella cheese (8 ounces)
  • 6 to 8 thin slices prosciutto ham (4 ounces)

Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine fig spread and TABASCO® Habanero Sauce in a small bowl and set aside. Cut the loaf of bread into 4 equal pieces and cut each piece open. Spread 1 tablespoon of the fig mixture on each of the four sandwich tops.

Place 2 slices of cheese (2-ounces) and 1 to 2 thing slices (1-ounce) of prosciutto on each sandwich bottom. Close the sandwiches and wrap each tightly in foil. Bake for 20 minutes; unwrap and serve hot.
