Guadeloupe Chicken Salad

  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons capers, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 1 avocado, peeled and cut into wedges
  • Paprika


Combine chicken, onion, carrot, bell pepper, cilantro, and capers in a bowl and mix well. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, TABASCO® Green Sauce, lemon juice, cumin, and salt to taste in a small bowl and mix well; pour over chicken mixture and toss well.

Serve on lettuce leaves with avocado wedges and sprinkle with paprika. Add more TABASCO® Green Sauce, if desired.

Makes 4 servings.

    This is a family summer favorite! Originally found on the green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce box. Never any leftovers, a cool summer alternative w/ spice.
