  • 1 large avocado, chopped (about 1 1/4 cups)
  • 1 large tomato, chopped (about 1 1/4 cups)
  • 4 tablespoons TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce, divided, plus more for serving
  • Salt to taste
  • 8 (7-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Sour cream

Combine avocado, tomato, and 1 tablespoon TABASCO® Chipotle Sauce in a small bowl; stir in salt to taste and set aside.

Wrap tortillas in foil and warm in a 300°F oven for 10 minutes. Brush chicken with oil and season with salt. Grill over medium-high heat until browned and chicken is no longer pink inside, about 6 minutes per side.

Coarsely chop chicken; transfer to bowl and toss with remaining 3 tablespoons TABASCO® Chipotle Sauce. Serve immediately with warm tortillas, avocado-tomato salsa, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and additional TABASCO® Chipotle Sauce, letting everyone build their own tacos.

Makes 4 servings.

Amazing flavor, a family favorite! I substitute crema for the sour cream for a real Tex-Mex taste.
