Hawaiian Ham and Pineapple Pizza

  • 1 (12-inch) packaged prebaked pizza crust
  • 1/2 cup prepared marinara or pizza sauce
  • 2 tablespoons TABASCO® brand Buffalo Style Hot Sauce
  • 1 cup thinly sliced fresh or canned pineapple pieces
  • 1 cup thinly sliced baked ham, torn into pieces (4 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (3 ounces)

Place crust on a pizza pan dusted with cornmeal.

Combine marinara sauce and TABASCO® Buffalo Style Sauce in a small bowl and spread over crust in a circular motion with the back of a large spoon so it almost reaches the edges. Sprinkle pineapple and ham evenly around surface, then follow with green onion and cheese.

Bake pizza on top rack of a 500°F oven for 15 to 17 minutes or until surface is lightly browned. Cut into slices and serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings.

This looks amazing! It's been a very long time since I had a Hawaiian Ham and Pineapple pizza and my mouth is already watering just by looking at it. The use of the buffalo style hot sauce is also a nice little twist that's sure to add some kick to the flavor. However, I'm not that good at baking pizza, so maybe I should order a Ham and Pineapple pizza first to remind myself of the actual taste before taking a crack at making one of these! http://picklemans.com/locations/kirkwood-missouri.html
