6 medium-size all-purpose potatoes, pared and quartered
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups diced cabbage
6 green onions, sliced
1/2 cup hot milk
1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Place potatoes in 3-quart saucepan with water to cover and bring to boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat and simmer until tender, 20 to 25 minutes. Drain.
While potatoes are cooking, melt 2 tablespoons butter in 2-quart saucepan over low heat. Add cabbage and green onions. Cover; cook over low heat until tender, about 5 minutes.
Mash potatoes until smooth. Gradually add hot milk, and beat until fluffy and creamy. Stir in salt and TABASCO® Green Sauce. Add cabbage and green onions; mix well. Turn into serving dish. Make "well" in center with back of spoon and add remaining tablespoon butter.
