Ingredients
4 cups corn kernels
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon oil
1 jalapeno, seedless and diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
Sauce
3 tablespoons TABASCO® Brand Original Red Pepper Sauce 3 tablespoons mayo
2 tablespoons crema mexicana
Lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
Cotija cheese
Cilantro
Lime
Chili Lime Salt (something similar)
Preparation
In a pre-heated skillet on medium to high heat, melt oil and butter together. Once melted, add the corn and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until lightly browned and charred.
Add the garlic and jalapenos and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
Lower the heat and mix in the sauce ingredients. Taste for salt and adjust.
Serve as a topping over a freshly cooked hot dogs.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and an additional dash of TABASCO® Brand Original Red Pepper Sauce.
