Avery Island Meets Asia: Sweet Hot Sauce You Can Dip Into.

At TABASCO®, we’re proud of making world-famous pepper sauces at one location—on Avery Island—since 1868. But to obtain the best ingredients for a sauce that offers our customers a completely different taste treat, we go very far afield—to Asia, specifically. Just for the exotic spices that perfectly complement the flavor of our peppers in TABASCO® brand SWEET & Spicy Pepper Sauce.

Our mildest sauce & first dip!

TABASCO® SWEET & Spicy Pepper Sauce subtly blends sweet and hot tastes into a unique flavor sensation we call “sweet heat.” It’s much milder than TABASCO® Original Sauce (2500-5000 vs. 100-600 on the food industry’s Scoville Heat Scale). It’s just one reason we say TABASCO® is about much more than hot. TABASCO® SWEET & Spicy Pepper Sauce is also our first sauce that’s perfect for dipping. Wait’ll you taste the TABASCO® difference when you dip finger foods like vegetables, spring rolls and chicken fingers!

A very versatile sauce, too.

TABASCO® SWEET & Spicy Sauce is also great as a glaze when grilling meats, as a traditional “splash on” condiment, as an ingredient in salad dressings, and for basting chicken, pork or shrimp. Made of ingredients from both the Far East and southern Louisiana, this sauce opens up a world of possibilities!

Ideas

Our mildest sauce infused with Asian spices is great for dipping, dressing salads and glazing meats.

  • Use TABASCO® SWEET & Spicy Sauce straight from the bottle as a dip for chicken fingers, French fries, grilled shrimp, spring rolls, fried chicken, taquitos, vegetables and more.
  • For another delicious vegetable dip, mix with sour cream or Ranch dressing.
  • Mix with an equal amount of mayonnaise, and use as a sandwich spread.
  • Drizzle on taco salad or nachos.
  • Add to Italian dressing to make a meat or vegetable marinade.
  • Mix with vinaigrette to make a dressing for bean salad or green salad.
  • Stir into melted butter and drizzle over baked chicken wings, or alongside lobster and clams.
  • Mix with dry mustard: makes a great glaze for your holiday ham.
  • Mix into a variety of different salad dressings: vinaigrette, blue cheese, etc.
  • Use TABASCO® SWEET & Spicy Sauce as a basting sauce during the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
  • Just as tasty in a stir-fry as it is in a slow cooker sauce.

I tried to locate this sauce with your checker, I gave up at 425 miles. Wish I could get this where I shop. And in the gallon bottle. Better yet, offer me a job and I'll move to Avery Island.

I use it in soups and stews and in stir frys....all the obvious places, but I am vegetarian, so I use it to marinate tofu before I bake it or pan fry it. I also use it in tofu scramble and breakfast burritos.
