Dips : Green-Eyed Salsa
- 1 medium Granny Smith apple, cored and finely diced
- 1 medium green pepper, finely diced
- 1 small red pepper, finely diced
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon small capers
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well. Cover and refrigerate up to 5 days. Serve with grilled chicken or fish, or tortilla chips.
Makes 2 cups.
