Beef : Cabbage Bratwurst Casserole

• 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  
• 6 bratwurst or knockwurst
  
• 1 medium onion, sliced
  
• 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  
• 1 tart apple, cored and diced
  
• 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  
• 2 tablespoons TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce
  
• 1 cup chicken stock
  

Preheat oven to 400°F. Pierce bratwurst with fork. Heat oil in Dutch oven over medium heat; add bratwurst and brown on all sides. Remove bratwurst from pan. Add onion and cabbage; cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add apple, caraway seeds, TABASCO^® Green Sauce, chicken stock and bratwurst; heat to boiling over high heat. Cover; place in oven and bake for 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender.

Makes 6 servings.
