Burgers : Ultimate Hamburgers
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2/3 cup diced red onion
- 2/3 cup diced green bell pepper
- 3 tablespoons TABASCO® brand Green Jalapeño Pepper Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 tablespoons shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 6 sesame seed rolls
In a large bowl combine the beef, onion, green pepper, TABASCO® Green Sauce, mustard, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Mix well and divide meat into 6 portions. Make an indentation in the middle of each burger, fill with 1 tablespoon cheese, and cover with hamburger so the cheese is concealed in the center.
Grill over medium high or broil burgers 8 minutes per side or until cooked through and cheese is melted. Serve on rolls.
Makes 6 servings.
