Burgers : Spicy Hawaiian Pork Burgers

  • 2 pounds ground pork
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons pepper
  • 6 hamburger rolls
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 6 pineapple rings, drained
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 6 lettuce leaves
  • 6 tomato slices

In a large bowl combine pork, ketchup, TABASCO® Habanero Sauce, salt and pepper and mix well. Shape meat into 6 patties and grill or broil about 7 minutes per side or until cooked through.

Spread each bun with 1 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise, place burgers on rolls and top each with a pineapple ring, slice of onion, lettuce, and tomato.

Makes 6 servings.
