Chicken : Exotic Chicken Wings
- 16 chicken wings (about 4 pounds)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- Oil for deep frying
- 1 cup Asian chili garlic sauce
- 1/3 cup Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
Remove wing tips from chicken wings and discard; cut remaining wings apart at the joints. Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste, then toss with flour to coat well.
Pour 2 to 3 inches of oil in a deep fryer and heat to 375°F. Fry chicken wings in several batches until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Combine chili garlic sauce, TABASCO® Sauce, hoisin sauce, and ginger in a large bowl and mix well. Add chicken and toss until well coated. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake in a 350°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
Makes 8 servings.
