Vegetarian : Manchu Mushrooms

  • 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 4 green onions, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/4 pounds fresh button mushrooms, trimmed and sliced
  • tablespoons TABASCO® brand Soy Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley, divided
  • Freshly ground pepper

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking. Add green onions and garlic; cook and stir for 2 minutes.

Stir in mushrooms, TABASCO® Soy Sauce, 1 teaspoon of the parsley, and pepper; cook and stir until mushrooms are softened and their liquid has evaporated, about 6 to 8 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1 teaspoon parsley and serve hot, at room temperature, or slightly chilled.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
