Chef Robert McGrath's Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings with Soy


  • 6 tablespoons TABASCO® brand SWEET & Spicy Pepper Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons TABASCO® brand Spicy Soy Sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Vegetable oil
  • 2 dozen chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup Wondra® flour or rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Combine TABASCO® SWEET & Spicy Sauce, honey, TABASCO® Spicy Soy Sauce, soy sauce, and salt; whisk until mixture is smooth and honey is dissolved completely.

Preheat vegetable oil in fryer to 350ยบ F.

Remove and discard wing tips from wings. Separate each wing into two pieces at the joint; trim excess fat and skin. Toss chicken wings in a bowl with flour. Fry wings for 10 minutes or until golden and crispy. Toss wings with desired amount of Sweet and Spicy wing sauce and sesame seeds.

Makes 24 chicken wings.
