Peppered Pecans

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons TABASCO® brand Original Red Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups pecan halves

Preparation

Melt butter in a medium skillet. Stir in garlic, TABASCO® Sauce, and salt; cook 1 minute. Add pecans and toss until well coated; spread in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in a 250°F oven for 1 hour or until pecans are crisp, stirring occasionally.

Makes 3 cups.

    I can eat all 3 cups worth in one Saturday evening watching college football. I also use more TABASCO about 3-3 1/2. Make sure you stir, easy to burn, and give the other TABASCO flavors a try the chipotle. I love it in this recipe.

    This is a terrific way to liven up a cheese ball. however, I like to double the Tabasco!
