My sister and I grew up on Tabasco. Before the day when it was in most restaurants, we would keep a small bottle in our purses. Even today, I keep a little one with me in case I go out and they don't have tabasco (how dare they?) or their salsa needs a "kick"

Tabasco's original red sauce is the single most greatest achievement in American cuisine!

...is a bottle of Tabasco in the cook's kitchen. Ever since I was a kid, I have always loved Tabasco and there is no substitute for me when I cook. When I go on vacation I always remember to pack 3 things - chef's knife, peppermill and a fresh bottle of Tabasco.

I start each day with a couple of spoonfuls of Tabasco. It's perfect by itself!

Get a shot glass and 3/4 fill with vodka then carefully top up the rest of the glass by carefully pouring rasberry syrup over a teaspoon to put a floating layer on the vodka then put in 3 drops of red tabasco. Put the whole shot in your mouth holdfor two seconds and swallow YUM!!!

I can't help but put it on everything! I even just had a couple of slices of tabasco bread, (bread with tabasco sauce on it) because i couldnt find anything else to put it on! I just wish we had more of the flavours you have over here in the uk! Or possibly those gallon bottles of the stuff!

There is hardly a day that I don't use it. About mid morning I use it in my V-8. I use it on eggs, pizza, chicken-fried steak. My kids when they were about 8 (son) and 4 (daughter) saw Dad using it on his CFS and wanted it on theirs...they have been hooked since. I'm still 'blamed' for it!(?) My daughter is conservative, but my son makes his cream gravy turn Halloween orange. I have recently started putting it on my Grilled Cheese sandwiches by putting several drops on a thin layer of mayo and rubbing it until even. I also invented the "Tabasco, Bacon, Grilled Cheese Sandwich" with the bacon between two slices of cheedar and Tabasco on the one slice of bread with the mayo. AWESOME!!! I have a bottle at my desk at work, a little bottle in my truck for emergencies and 4-5 bottles in a cabinet in the galley at work for my fellow police officers to share. My daugher loves her scrambled eggs with 'Ole Red!' Nothing like a good ole bowl of Chicken 'n Dumplings w/ the original Tabasco sauce. All I know is that I should own stock in McIlhenny Co. Vaya con dios!
