Cowboys and Dancers at Richard's Club
Zydeco music grew out of the agrarian culture of southwest Louisiana's Creole community. Its ties to the land remain strong, as evidenced by the number of riders who show up for the average "trail ride" an all-day affair of hot barbeque, fast horses and pounding zydeco grooves. The slam of cowboy boots on the hardwood floor of Richard's sometimes makes the entire building shake with the tremors of a seriously good time.
