Delton Broussard
As leader of the Lawtell Playboys, Delton Broussard played in the older, rural, Afro-Carribean style of zydeco. Recordings of his music can be found on the anthologies Zodico (Rounder Records) and LaLa (Maison De Soul Records), two excellent field recordings by Nick Spitzer. His sons have carried on in their father's footsteps with the popular group Zydeco Force. This photograph was taken in Mamou, Louisiana.
